Our Scottish Brigade

South Coast Swords is an eclectic Historical European Martial Arts school. While our central weapon is medieval longsword in the Liechtenauer tradition, we also study even older martial arts, such as Viking combat, and post-medieval combat such as Scottish broadsword, rapier, 19th century saber, and more. For many years our Scottish Brigade has entertained and educated at the Costa Mesa Scottish Fest and the Seaside Highland Games. Robin Price, Director of the Southern California Cateran Society, is our main instructor for Scottish Martial Arts.
